Some great questions, greater answers. If Dorka leaves G get's a big from the portal. I think he will absolutely get a guard out of the portal. Thanks Dan.

Good point (getting a center from the xfer portal). Do you know if anyone of quality's there yet??

No, no idea. If Dorka leaves and Geno doesn't get a big I'll take that to mean he thinks the pups are ready. I have yet to see any such sign from him, I'm sure he won't be counting on Ice or Ayannah to step right in. Let's just hope Dorka stays.

Agree...100% (Dorka stays) - because Piath & Amara are far from ready (thanks to Geno giving them a whopping 20 minutes of playing time ALL YEAR)

Sorry a question. Is Williams coming back for the offered Covid year of eligibility?!! I hope so! She’s been a spark-flame-bonfire-5 Alarm Fire since the first time she stepped on the court!! Her confidence was Turasi esk!! She just pulled up and swished her way into all true UConn Lady Huskie fans from the get go!! Woooooowhoooooo!

Didn't do any of my questions? :-( boo/hiss

Also - yes (because of "D") I agree that UConn's Final Four material. But probably not Champeens. And remember I've been bringing up the difficulty of merging Paige back in - Chemistry-wise, but I did NOT see that Paige would (Contribution-wise) be a problem. Head-scratcher

I personally don't think that the free-throw shooting will be a problem. S.C. has a terrible % - and has handled their business. (Yes yes - they had a chance to sink free-throws & ice the SEC Tourney - I'm talking overall). But - things are what they are with free throws - Players can't really do much in 10 days to overcome a year+'s bad averages.

I hope Dorka comes back. She'll start and get a LOT of minutes.

Thanks - as always for a TERRIFIC issue

"Players can't really do much in 10 days to overcome a year+'s bad averages."

Right. But coaches can. If UConn was faced with having to sink ft's late in a game Geno should keep ONO on the bench. Simple as that. Her shooting form is bad. She shoots a flat shot that under pressure turns into a line drive. No excuse for it.

In principle I never disagree over soc.media - but check out the last 4-6 weeks of Liv's free throw shooting. At least when I've watched games her average has gotten better than the team as a whole.
