She should be a nice addition and fill Dorkas spot. But if Aaliyah gets All-American status this year, what's gonna be left for her? Is a national title enough? I can see her going pro....she has the talent. Another year at UConn with the chance to get injured? Who thinks Azziz will get through next year without getting injured? Or, perish the thought, Paige? We've seen teams look good on paper before. Going pro has to be a serious possibility for Aaliyah......with the new guys coming in....they should do well....Amari's playing better....Who knows? Go Huskies.....
Kind'a cool about the # of international players - what? But two questions:
1. Is there another Div-I Womens B-Ball squad with representation by so many countries?
2. Why are we/UConn forced - or simply going international to fill the roster? There's some dearth of U.S. women's H.S. talent? Any other reason so many of the best U.S. players are not choosing UConn?
ive watched her videos of playing in the african tournament. shes a big girl and yes she gonna be outstanding on this team. this will be the first time in a long time we will have a dominant post presence next year. i beleive uconn women will make a run but to be honest we will fall short of the title. but next year?
