How to watch UConn this season
The regular season has finally arrived. On Thursday, UConn will kick off a new year in search of its 12th national championship when the Northeastern Huskies visit Gampel Pavilion.
Throughout the preseason, one of the questions we’ve been asked most often is how to watch the Huskies. To get you ready for the new year, we’ve put together a quick guide:
SNY
Most of UConn’s games (18 to be exact) are on SNY. For fans in the network’s market (Connecticut, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania), the game will air on television, SNY.tv or the SNY app — as long as SNY is part of your cable/streaming package.
Out of market fans can tune in at FoxSports.com or on the Fox Sports App as long as Fox is part of your cable package. Viewers will be required to log-in with TV provider credentials to watch the game.
FOX
UConn will have three games on FOX and two more on FS1. Fans can watch on television or through FoxSports.com and the Fox Sports App with the proper log-in credentials. These games — along with those on ESPN and CBS Sports — are all nationally televised, so there is no difference between being in-market vs. out-of-market.
ESPN family of networks
The ESPN family of networks (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ABC) will broadcast the second-most UConn games behind only SNY. All these games will be available on television or through ESPN.com/watch or the ESPN app.
CBS Sports
Often the most difficult channel to find, CBS Sports only has a pair of UConn games. These are on linear television as well as CBSSports.com. A log-in is required to watch online.
