The key thing to focus on is how UConn has played without several starters, not who was out. Last night, without 2 starters, on the road, they dominated a ranked team. Creighton is a very good team that lost at Stanford by 13 but outscored the Trees over the last 3 periods.

I have been saying since last year that the media only seems to want to talk about the missing when the story should be about who is playing and how they are doing.

media preseason memes :

"If Bueckers is out then UConn can't win".

"UConn has so many questions about the abilities of Griffin, Edwards, Muhl & Senechal" Where are the followup articles? I guess finding out that they are all making significant contributions despite being generally dismissed as unlikely leaders by the media during the preseason is too UConn-positive to appeal to the public?

This is the same media that predicted final fours for Texas and Tenn and who votes LSU into the top 10 despite their virtual DII scheduling. They were all predicted to shine because transfers (other than UConn's) are all locks to be great for their new teams. (according to the "astute" media). Except that they haven't been and not one media member has owned up to that fact.

UConn may be 8th in the AP voting but they are No. 2 in the country by Massey with the toughest schedule so far. All the analytic ratings have UConn ranked significantly higher than the so-called "informed" media.

UConn Huskies Intimidating !

I watched that Game: the 3rd Sellout in Omaha History.

Creighton is good. But as soon as the Blue Shirted Huskies took the Floor..man, Creighton "took the apple". They waited to Lose. That seems to happen a lot.

But that will not happen, when that great Lady from SC brings her Players to Hartford or Storrs.

HAPPY NEW YEAR Everybody..stay well.
